Alfredo Shrimp and Linguine

oz. uncooked linguine, broken into thirds

cups frozen sweet peas

cup refrigerated light Alfredo sauce

cup fat-free half-and-half or skim milk

lb. shelled, deveined, cooked medium shrimp

teaspoon dried basil leaves

teaspoon pepper
  • 1 In large saucepan, cook linguine to desired doneness as directed on package, adding peas during last 2 to 3 minutes of cooking time. Pour into colander to drain.
  • 2 In same saucepan over low heat, combine Alfredo sauce, half-and-half, shrimp, basil and pepper; mix well. Add cooked linguine and peas; cook 2 to 4 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring constantly.
