lb fresh asparagus spears

tablespoons olive oil

to 3 teaspoons grated lemon peel

teaspoon coarse sea salt
Ground black pepper

tablespoons fresh lemon juice (1 medium)

Directions

  1. 1 Heat oven to 400°F. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 2 Spread asparagus in single layer on cookie sheet. Drizzle oil over asparagus; toss to coat. Sprinkle with lemon peel, salt and a generous sprinkling of pepper.
  3. 3 Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until asparagus is crisp-tender. Just before serving, drizzle lemon juice over asparagus.
