pouches (9 oz each) Progresso™ Recipe Starters™ creamy three cheese cooking sauce

cups Progresso™ chicken broth (from 32-oz carton)
1/2
cup light beer
1/4
cup half-and-half
1/2
cup shredded Cheddar cheese (2 oz)

  • 1 In food processor or blender, pour cooking sauce, broth, beer and half-and-half. Cover; process on High speed 1 to 2 minutes or until smooth.
  • 2 Pour soup mixture into 4-quart Dutch oven or saucepan. Heat to a gentle simmer over low heat. Stir in cheese until melted.
  • 3 Divide soup among 4 small soup bowls. If desired, garnish each with additional Cheddar cheese.
