How long can I store unopened cans of Pillsbury® Grands!® Sweet Rolls?
For best quality, use sweet rolls before the "use-by" date on the package.
-
Where should I store unopened cans of Sweet Rolls?
Store Sweet Rolls on a shelf in the refrigerator. Temperatures in the refrigerator's door shelves or crisper may be too warm or too cold.
-
Can I bake some of the rolls now and save some to bake later?
Opening the Sweet Rolls can activates the leavening that causes the dough to rise. After the can is open, the dough can be covered with plastic wrap and refrigerated for up to two hours before baking. After two hours, the dough will begin to deteriorate.
-
Can I freeze the unbaked dough?
No. Freezing unbaked dough may prevent it from rising once it is baked.
-
Can I freeze baked Sweet Rolls?
Yes! For best results, use within one month after freezing.
-
Can I microwave the unbaked dough?
No. The uneven heat of a microwave prevents the dough from browning and baking through.
-
Can I bake the Sweet Rolls in a toaster oven?
No, we don’t recommend it. A toaster oven's small size often results in uneven heating, and the dough may burn.

What if I cannot find my favorite Pillsbury® Sweet Rolls product?
Pillsbury would like to have all stores carry all our products. Unfortunately, this isn't always the case. We recommend you express your interest in purchasing a particular product to your local store manager.
