FAQs

Toaster Strudel Pastries

  1. Can I prepare Pillsbury® Toaster Strudel™ pastries in the microwave?
No, we don't recommend it. The uneven heat of a microwave may produce a tough and soggy crust.

  2. Can I bake the pastries in the oven?
Yes! Bake the pastries on a baking sheet in an oven preheated to 375 degrees F. for three to four minutes.

  3. Which setting should I use on my toaster or toaster oven when I make the pastries?
Use the same settings as you would to make golden-brown toast, usually medium to medium-low. In a toaster, the strudel will need one to two cycles to heat and turn golden brown. In a toaster oven, one cycle is usually sufficient.

  4. I accidentally put a box of Toaster Strudel™ pastries in the refrigerator instead of the freezer. Can I still use it?
For best quality, we recommend that the pastries be stored in the freezer. However, they can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week. Do not refreeze thawed strudels. TIP: Thawed strudels may toast faster, so be sure to watch them when toasting.

  5. Why can't I find my favorite flavor of Pillsbury Toaster Strudel™ pastries?
Pillsbury encourages all stores to carry all flavors of Toaster Strudel™ pastries. Unfortunately, this doesn't always happen. We recommend you express your interest in a particular flavor to the grocery store manager.

  6. I left a box of Toaster Strudel™ pastries on the counter overnight. Can I still use it?
No. Do not use a product that has remained at room temperature overnight.
