I live in a small town about 25 miles from Sacramento. Northern California is a beautiful place!
Tell us about whom you cook/bake for most often.
With my two children grown and out of the house, I’m still adjusting to cooking for just me and my husband.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
My marriage of almost 25 years to my wonderful husband.
Why did you enter the Pillsbury Bake-Off® Contest?
For the challenge of it, but also because the prize money would be life-changing for my family.
What are cooking contests have you entered?
I entered a chili cook-off at my church and won the “most mysterious chili” award! My chili wasn’t actually chili at all; it was butternut squash soup. Ha!
What makes your Bake-Off® Recipe a winning recipe?
Balsamic Chicken Cranberry Panzanella is as healthy as it is delicious, and it’s really versatile. You can omit the chicken and add more vegetables for a delightful vegetarian meal. Or add olives, feta cheese, pine nuts…. The options are truly endless!
