Bio:

Born & raised in Portland, OR; have a BS Degree in Sociology. My Mother had me helping in the kitchen by the time I was 6 peeling apples. She was a great down home cook. I love to cook & bake, tweaking recipes to my own liking both for healthier content & for creative use of spicing both subtle & sweet 'n hot. I have been married 15 years, am now retired & Grandma to 7 grand children. We are looking forward to a large garden this year & plan to share with our neighbors in exchange for help in planting & canning.
