Bio:

I am all about cooking. I grew up in a house with 8 brothers and 2 sisters and preparing meals and sitting down together was never taken for granted. My love of cooking lead me to owning 2 restaurants. I am out of the business now, but still enjoy making a great meal people remember. I have one son and my husband and I have been married nearly 25 years. I became a grandmother on 12-31-08! We have a busy house with 2 cats, 2 dogs. Friends and family seem to find their way to our table a few times a month. I was recently laid off from my job so am spending time coming up with new recipes and thinking about entering the contest for the first time.
