My husband and I are the biggest Friday night pizza fans in the nation (at least, I like to think so). We love making homemade pizza together! We just whip out a can of the thin pizza crust and pile on the toppings.
Lately, we have really started to step up our game and have been trying new and interesting flavors. Our last pizza night, we created this Alfredo pizza and it was a home run! This pizza is fabulous because the layers of ingredients sing when paired together: Alfredo, fresh spinach and shrimp topped with shredded mozzarella make it a delight.
Sprinkle with garlic, salt and pepper and cook for 2 minutes on each side until the shrimp turns pink, then remove from heat.
Next, unroll the pizza dough onto a cookie sheet or pizza sheet and pre-bake for 5 minutes. Remove dough and top with Alfredo sauce, spinach, shrimp mixture, cheese and parsley.
