You’d have to be living under a rock not to know that Greek yogurt is a big thing right now. The dairy aisle and everyone passing through it have been subject to these culture wars (heh).

Well, there’s been a significant development. Yoplait Greek Blueberry, one of Pillsbury’s sister brands, has just bested Chobani® Greek Blueberry Fruit on the Bottom in a national taste test.* This is huge.

In a game of clever marketing marksmanship, the team behind Yoplait Greek opened a pop-up storefront near Chobani’s retail outlet in New York’s trendy Soho district. They celebrated their taste-test victory and gave out free samples in hopes of converting even more fans to Team Yoplait. Go them!

All this yogurt talk is of course making me hungry. So, to tip our hats to our friends at Yoplait Greek, and to make this weekend even creamier and tastier, here are my top picks for quick yogurt-y yums:

Blueberry Orange Smoothie

Do you have power-erranding to get done? Me too. I’m starting Saturday on the right foot by fueling up with this fruity smoothie that blends creamy yogurt with orange juice and blueberries.

Frozen Blueberry Breakfast Bars

Yes, I know it’s still cold out. But these grab-and-go bars feel refreshing rather than freezing.

Blueberry Lemon Cheerios

It’s hard to mess with classic combos such as yogurt, berries and Cheerios. I love the addition of lemon zest and honey here.

What’s your favorite way to use Greek blueberry yogurt?

*In a national, double-blind taste test with more than 300 consumers, nearly 2 out of 3 said Yoplait Greek blueberry yogurt tastes better than Chobani blueberry fruit on the bottom yogurt.
