Dinner happens every night of the week, and while I never get tired of eating it, after a while I feel like I’ve worn out certain ingredients. And those ingredients are always the star of the show.

That’s right, I’m talking about poultry, the sometimes unacknowledged dinner superstar that’s been gracing tables nightly for a long time. I’m guilty of sometimes trying to avoid it, but I don’t think it should get a bad rap. It’s a staple. I want to celebrate chicken, try new flavors with it. And most of all, I want to find new ways to eat it.

Chicken Parmesan Casserole
The great thing about chicken recipes is that they can be simple and still full of flavor. Take this 10-minute-prep Chicken Parmesan Casserole. Say goodbye to time consuming work and put this dish together in a flash. It’s a twist on the traditional chicken parm that’s fresh and tasty and probably hasn’t made it to the table in a while. Big & Easy BBQ Chicken Pockets
Here’s a tasty barbecue dish. The beauty of a recipe this simple is that you can change up ingredients to refresh it every time it’s served. Try a different cheese or barbecue sauce for a different taste each time you serve it. Nothing’s boring about these BBQ Chicken Pockets. Upside Down Tomato Basil and Chicken Tartlets
What’s more exciting than eating a dish that’s upside-down? It gives a whole new perspective. And in the case of these Upside Down Tomato Basil and Chicken Tartlets, it allows for wonderful flavor combinations.

Next time you start thinking that you can’t do anything new with chicken, think again. If the ideas above don’t spark your interest, try these Easy Chilaquiles, this Chicken Cordon Bleu Ring or this Buffalo Chicken Burger and prepare to be delighted with the poultry possibilities.
