Peanut Butter Cup Cookie Dough Brownies How-To

These three-step brownies have a triple threat of decadent layers, cookie dough, peanut butter cups and rich, chocolaty brownies.

STEP ONE: ASSEMBLE FIRST TWO LAYERS

Press cookie dough into the bottom of the pan in an even layer. Top the cookie dough with a single layer of peanut butter cups.

STEP TWO: MAKE BROWNIES

Prepare the brownie batter according to the directions on the package using water, oil and eggs.

STEP THREE: ADD FINAL LAYER

Spread the brownie mixture on top of the layer of peanut butter cups. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until the brownies are set around the edges and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove the pan from the oven and cool for 20 minutes. Lift the brownie out of the pan using foil edges; cool completely on a wire cooling rack. Cut them into squares and serve.
