I love dulce de leche so I was excited to try Dulce de Leche Cheerio's, a new cereal from General Mills. Dulce de leche is a thick, caramel-like milk-based sauce or spread.

Served in a bowl with milk these are crunchy, sweet and bursting with caramel flavor. Remember those bars that are layers of graham cracker, chocolate and coconut? They are a popular bake sale and holiday treat.

I love taking an old favorite and messing with it a bit. The caramel flavor goes perfectly with the graham cracker crust and white and chocolate chips. The saltiness of the pretzels compliments the caramel and chocolate.

Mix the butter into a mixing bowl with the graham crackers and pecans. Press it into your baking pan.
Take a can of sweetened condensed milk and pour across the top. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes. Let cool and then cut them into bars.
