Egg and Spinach Pizza How-To
This simple pizza is perfect for breakfast or dinner.
Whether you make this for breakfast, lunch or dinner, you’ll definitely want an extra slice (or two). Creamy ricotta cheese tops the tasty crust with bright green spinach, a little extra cheese, fresh tomatoes and perfectly cooked eggs.
It may look fancy, but don’t worry. It’s as easy as pie!
Here’s what you’ll need: A tube of Pillsbury® Simply...® French Bread, a touch of butter and garlic powder, ricotta cheese, fresh spinach, shredded cheese, eggs and fresh diced tomatoes.
Pop open the tube of dough, and then shape it into a thin, long rectangle. (You can use a rolling pin or your hands.)
Transfer the dough to a baking sheet, and brush with melted butter. Evenly sprinkle a little garlic powder over the top.
Next, spread the ricotta cheese all over the dough. Top with spinach and shredded cheese.
Make three little nests or wells in the middle of the dough. Break one egg into each nest.
Bake the pizza until the crust is golden, the cheese is melted and the egg whites are set. Sprinkle with fresh tomatoes and enjoy!
