You could start by listing a favorite ingredient in the search box on , then narrowing your search using the categories on the left side of the page.  You also may want to try the 20-minute Meals Recipe Collection ... it includes hearty meals ready in just 20 minutes.  There are many recipes on featuring easy-to-use refrigerated pizza dough (just search for pizza). A deliciously topped pizza and a crisp salad make a terrific (and easy) meal.

Some recipes on that keep the whole family happy include Super Easy Chicken Pot Pie

Grands! Taco Melts

Crescent-Topped Pot Roast Pie

Caesar Chicken Salad Squares

Chicken Cordon Bleu Stromboli

Happy browsing!

Re: dinner

I have a super easy chicken recipe that I got from an ancient cookbook.  All you have to do is use a whole fryer or a roaster ( I get them for 80 Cents/lb. at Sam's Club.  I then get out my teflon dutch oven but you can use a non teflon one instead if you don't have a teflon.  You can also use a large saucepan if the chicken will fit. Before I touch the chicken I wash my hands, dry them good and chop a whole medium size onion and place it in the bottom of the pot.I get out the salt container and measure 1 teaspoon of iodized salt and put it on the counter. I then wash the chicken really good inside first with cold water and pull out the bloody stuff in the bottom of it.  I then rinse the inside and the outside 5 times. I then sprinkle 1/2 of the teaspoon of salt inside the bird. Then I place the chicken with my hand in the center breast side up over the pot and sprinkle 1/4 of the teaspoon on the wings, legs and breast, then flip the chicken over and put the rest of the salt on the legs and back.  I put the chicken on top of the chopped onion and fix the wings over the back.  I then put the cover on the pot and turn the the stove on high until the chicken begins to sizzle.  I then turn it down to simmer for 1 and 1/2 hours.  There is no water required.  It browns on the breast but you have to remove it carefully when it is done so the breast skin doesn't tear. It is popular in my house and the leftovers are great for chicken a la king, etc.

Forgot about the balanced part.  This can be served with peas or green beans.  I also serve it with persian rice or a rice pilaf..  If you would like the recipes please blog.

Re: dinner

Does your family like tacos? I have a taco cresent ring recipe thats absolutely delicous. Most eveyone I know likes it. Simple yet very satisfying. Here is the recipe.

Beef Taco Ring

Making the ring: Unroll 2(8oz) packages of crescent rolls;separate into 16 triagles. Arrange triangles, slightly overlapping, in a circle on a large round stone or pizza pan with wide ends 4 inches from edge of baking pan. (Points will extend off the edge of the baking stone if u r using a stone. Roll wide ends of doug toward center to create a 5-inch opening.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 lbs lean(90%) ground beef

1 package tarco seasoning mix

1 3/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese, divided

2 TB. water

1 egg white slightly beaten

Lettuce, tomato, salsa, sour cream, whatever you like on your tacos

Preheat oven to 375. Cook beef until no longer pink. Stir in taco season,1 1/2 c. of the cheese and the water. Scoop filling evenly over the cresent ring in a continuous circle. Bring points of triangles up over filling and tuck under dough at  center to form a ring(Filling will show).  Brush  with egg white. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 25-30 mins or til golden brown. Place on Platter and put your toppings, lettuce, tomato, sour cream etc in the center hole of the ring. Enjoy!
