Recipe Help PLEASE

Hi, right around Thanksgiving, Pillsbury had one of their little books out and it was all appetizers. I wanted to get the book, waited to long and now missed it. I am looking for a recipe and the picture was on the cover of this book. It was a shrimp dip and they served it in pieces of red pepper. Can anyone help me? Thank you so much in advance. Here is my email address, in case..............Jane

Re: Recipe Help PLEASE

After it is off sale for a while, you can order back-issues of the Pillsbury Classic Cookbooks magazines.  You're looking for Holiday Appetizers and Mini Desserts, number 319, November 2007.  Just click on Magazines and Cookbooks at the top of any page on .

In the meantime, here is the recipe you are looking for:

Creamy Shrimp Dip

  • 1 package (8 oz) 1/3-less-fat cream cheese (Neufchâtel), softened
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons fat-free (skim) milk
  • 1 teaspoon lemon-herb seasoning
  • 1 can (4 oz) tiny shrimp, drained
  • 1 tablespoon sliced green onion (1 medium)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green bell pepper
  • 2 large red bell peppers, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
  • 32 leaves flat leaf parsley

1.   In small bowl, mix cream cheese, milk and lemon-herb seasoning; beat until smooth. Add shrimp, green onion and bell pepper; mix well.

 2.   Scoop into red bell pepper pieces. Cover and refrigerate until serving time. Just before serving, top with parsley leaf.  32 servings (2 tablespoons dip and 1 piece red bell pepper each)
