Re: Bành Mí Chicken Sliders vs. Sesame-Chicken Pot Stickers

Both recipes promise to be Oriental-savory, but I voted for the Sesame-Chicken potstickers because this sounds more like a Chinese restaurant experience which I can never visit often enough.

The Banh Mi Chicken Sliders is probably great, but I'm not  eager to try a sandwich as an appetizer--the bread here sounds filling (I know, as opposed to fried dough?), but to be perfectly frank, if I saw the word "slider," in an appetizer, I would  not order it.

Just so you know, the term "sliders" is a new super popular phrase being used by all the restaurants and fast food chains. Basically the term slider means a very small "mini" sandwich like a mini hamburger or cheese burger.

Next time you are in a recognized, chain restaurant, check the menu. You will probably note that they now offer a plate of three or four mini burgers (usually called sliders). Even the mini burgers at Jack-In-the-Box are also referred to as sliders, as well as Burger King and Carl's Jr.

I have already tried the Sesame-Chicken Pot Stickers, and I must say, they are just a little piece of heaven.  I liked the way they looked, so I made them.  I only wish I could vote a hundred times, because THIS recipe is wonderful.

I am also trying to get the recipe for the potstickers.  Opened the e-mail at work and couldn't print.  I went back this weekend and it was gone.  I would appreciate if anyone that has the recipe would share it with me.  Thank you.

I just recently tried them again.  They're awesome.  Those potstickers are addicting.
