Cresent roll cream cheese with canned apples desert

Last weekend at a Super Bowl party, someone made a desert that was fabulous.  It  was cresent rolls used as crust both top and bottom with a cream cheese apple mixture for the filling.  It had cinamon/sugar sprinkled on top, Was baked in a 9x13 baking dish. Was served warm.  Can anyone help me with a recipe?  Can't get a hold of my host, would like to make for a Valentine Dinner tomorrow night, Saturday. Any suggestions?

Re: Cresent roll cream cheese with canned apples desert

Fruit Danish

2 cans crescent rolls
2 8oz pkgs cream cheese
1 egg, separated
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract or almond extract
1 can pie filling

Glaze
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 to 3 teaspoons milk

Lightly grease or spray bottom of 9x13 pan.
Place one can crescent rolls in bottom of pan, sealing seams.
Mix cream cheese, egg yolk, sugar and extract. Spread on dough.
Spoon pie filling over cream cheese mixture.
Top with other can crescent rolls.
Lightly beat egg white and brush on top of dough.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until golden brown.
Blend powdered sugar and extract with just enough milk to drizzle on top of warm danish.
