Looking for lemon cake that is similar to the "Tunnel of Fudge" Cake

My understanding of this recipe is that it was a lemon cake with a lemon filling within the cake. Similar to the "Tunnel of fudge" cake.

Does anyone have a recipe?

Thanks,

Hmmm.

Just through searching onsite I found this:

http://www.pillsbury.com/Recipes/ShowRecipe.aspx?rid=13724

On our sister site, Betty Crocker, we have this recipe: http://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes.aspx/lemon-cake-with-lemon-curd-filling/47e6a61c-66df-420e-a5dd-3bdce5cece34

Hope these help or inspire! Sincerely, Cate

Sweetsensations ---

In an old (1974) small Pillsbury's Best Bundt Recipes there is the following.  (Now I've never made this cake - so I have NO idea what its like .. but the filling IS baked in the cake):

LEMON CHEESE FILLED CAKE

1 package Pillsbury yellow cake mix

1 cup apricot nectar or water

1/4 cup buter or margarine, softened

3 eggs

FILLING:

2 (8 oz each) pkgs cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sugar

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 cup flaked coconut

GLAZE:

1 cup powdered sugar

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon butter or margarine, softened

1 to 2 teaspoons apricot nectar or milk

Preheat oven 5o 350 degrees.  Using solid shortening or margarine, grease and flour 12-cup bundt fluted tube pan (non-stick finish pan too).  In large bowl, blend first 4 ingredients; beat 2 minutes at highest speed.  Pour into prepared pan.  In same bowl, blend all FILLING ingredients, beat untill smooth.  Spoon FILLING over batter in pan without touching sides of pan.  Bake 60 to 70 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.  Cool upright in pan 45 minutes; turn onto serving plate.  Cool completely.  In small bowl, combine GLAZE ingredients; mix until mooth.  Spoon over cake. Refrigeate.

Make 1 10-inch ring cake
