Nutter Butter Cake Recipe

Hello foodies!

I made a Nutter Butter cake yeeeeeears ago and it was a recipe off the back of a pillsbury cake box and I haven't been able to find it since!! It was about the most delicious thing I have ev-er tasted....

I'm pretty sure it involved the white cake mix and then it added peanut butter and crushed up cookies to the batter I think, and then peanut butter added to a tub of frosting with crushed cookies on top. Holy cow, I'm going to start drooling just thinking about it...Anyway, it came out as a pretty light cake if I remember right so does anyone have the recipe or know a trick to altering a cake mix to get it like this? I've made the "Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Pound Cake" recipe on this site (which I HIGHLY recommend btw) but that's a dense pound cake and uses a yellow cake mix...

I would be most grateful for any suggestions on this topic.

THANKS - Leslie
