Chocolate peanut butter with a ganache topping is my number 1 favorite.
My second favorite would be a french silk
Then a chocolate pecan

How come no chocolate pies on your list?

Now I will make a REAL Key Lime pie for my husband, that is his favorite.  I add a bit of coconut in the crust for a real "tropical" taste.

Oh wow, chocolate peanut butter sounds amazing!  I like your twist of adding coconut for the Key Lime pie.  I'll have to remember that one.

GOOSEBERRY PIE is my ultimate fave!!!  I love picking the berries and freezing them until I've collected enough for a pie.  The best part is that my mother is the only other family member who enjoys a good gooseberry pie, so we don't have to share with the group!! 

We have been watching alot of snow white and the seven dwarfs. What is gooseberry pie and how do you make it. I have a two year old and a husband with a sweet tooth.

I have never had  a key lime pie..   Do you have a favorite recipe you use?   I'd like to  try one  to see if I like it.

I've tried this Key Lime Pie - it's sooooo easy and really fluffy. Highly reccomended!

The best Key Lime Pie recipe is on the back of the bottle of Nellie and Joe's Key Lime Juice.
It is a basic recipe Key lime juice, sweetened condensed milk (NOT evaporated) and eggs. (Yolks only) pour into a graham cracker crust and bake for a few minutes.  That's how easy.  I don't have a bottle now that is why there are not amounts but you have to get the REAL key lime juice.
I like the pie topped with whipped cream rather than merangue made from the whites of the eggs.

Lemon Meringue pie says spring to me.  Just as long as fresh lemons are used and it is really lemony.  Fresh strawberrys glazed with a cream cheese filling is a close second.  I LOVE PIE!

I agree w/ you but I would like to also add another favorite of mine,although it isn't a spring pie ..I LOVE homemade blackberry pie and have not had any since my Mom died...37 years ago.She always made them.

I have to agree that even in Spring, chocolate is a favorite flavor in its many incarnations:  Mousse pies, turtle pies, chocolate ice cream pies, fudge pies, etc. 

In the Bluegrass State we have a marvelous,  All-Season speciality that is called the Derby Pie or Winner's Circle Pie (I don't want to leave out anyone's favorite name.)  It is made with chocolate chips, pecans, brown sugar, vanilla, etc. and poured into a pie crust to bake.  Topped with whipped cream or ice cream while still warm...de-lish! 

My second place choice: REAL Key Limes, while hard to find, make a sensational pie!

I would KILL for Grandma "Ikki's" choc pnutbutter with ganache topping pie!  Where did you get this recipe?  Girl!  I'm with you on the choc theme.  And choc & pnutbutter???? That's heaven right there!

I love Lemon Meringue Pies! Homeade moreso than Store bought or Marie Callendars!
