My favorite pie is cherry -- but I'm quite particular about my mom's version.  She takes one can of store-bought cherry pie filling and mixes it with regular unsweetened cherries.  The combination can't be beat!

1. LEMON is my favorite made from scratch !!!

Lemon - no question.  My Mom would made the lemon filling from scratch standing over a hot stove and stiring until the filling thickened.  She made one every year for my birthday.  Now I'll just buy one.  It's good but just not the same.

 

 

Did she add anything other than the pie filling and the unsweetened cherries? Sounds very good and I would like to try it.

Apple... no... Cherry.... Apple.. Cherry.. both..

My favorite pie is Rhubarb Custard and I like it two ways ------"Hot or Cold"

 

My favorite pie is the pumpkin. 

Cherry, Lemon is also good.

My favorite pie is pecan, and my fiancees Aunt Janis makes an awesome one!!!!

Pumpkin has always been the favorite for my husband and me. It always reminds me of family holiday gatherings. My husband likes it because he's getting dessert and a vegetable all in one! The only trouble with some restaurant or store-bought pies is that they don't use enough spices and it's too bland. It's pretty hard to beat a Pillsbury pre-made crust filled with canned pumpkin and my own blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, etc.

 

My favorite is Pecan Pie hands down.
