I remember when my 2 daughters and I were in Hawaii and there was a man on the beach who was sort of roly poly and reminded me of the Doughboy. I can still see him in my mind's eye, and and the thought brings up many happy memories. I often call myself the doughboy when I've gained a little weight and my stomach is extra flabby. The doughboy is so cute, and everyone likes him, and his voice and laugh. Its a great gift to always be remembered as a pleasant thought and favorable image. When was the idea of the Doughboy conceived?
