Recipes for Challenge Keep Evaporating!

Three different times on two different days I tried submitting  my recipe to the Pillsbury Challenge only to be greeted by a screen announcing that the E-Prize site is under maintenance?

Don't see that many recipes in the gallery, and wonder how many other cooks out there are having trouble submitting their recipes?

I't's getting late, maybe I'll type it again tomorrow. How much maintenance does one website need?

Hi Din-din:

Thank you for sharing your experience regarding our web site.  I have confirmed with our web technician that the site is up and running and is not under maintenance.  Please be sure to clear all your cookies in your browser setting and try again.  If you continue to have technical problems, please contact Pillsbury consumer services.  And a reminder, you can only enter one recipe per day.

Sincerely, Cate C

Re: Recipes for Challenge Keep Evaporating!

Hi, Cate,

Thank you for advising me to clear the cookies in my browser before attempting to resubmit my recipe for the Challenge! A good idea and I learned something new.

Before I read your response, however,  I was able (fourth try) to successfully submit my recipe. On any of the three different days I tried but failed, I was not attempting to enter more than one recipe per day.

One response I received in an e-mail from Pillsbury suggested that there might have been high traffic.

My suggestion is that the website could provide some back-up measure to at least retain a recipe (as they did with the recipe box  for the BakeOff) so that, if a recipe is not successfully submitted, at least it does not have to be re-typed.

Thanks again for your help!

Din-din
