Internet Coupon Acceptance at Your Store

Is anyone esle having difficulty with stores accepting the coupons you print from the Internet? Recently my local Wal-mart store stopped accepting my online coupons. Just wondering if anyone else was having the same problem. Trying to save money is getting harder and harder to do even though the companies are offering online coupons for us. [:(]

Hi Nephi:

Thank you for taking the time to join the community and share your thoughts. Your comment was shared with Consumer Services. Below is their response.

We′re sorry to hear you had trouble using your coupons.  Almost all major retailers have a corporate policy to accept printable coupons as long as they are not for free product and as long as they scan properly.   In fact, many of these policies can be easily found by typing “coupons” or “internet coupons” into the search box on the retailer′s corporate websites.

In some cases local store managers are not consistent with the corporate policy for various reasons.  You may consider calling the customer service line for the corporate retail offices for more information regarding the store that you had trouble with.

Please let us know what area you shop in, and some of the stores you′ve had trouble with by visiting our vendor′s Coupon Resource Center at
http://printcoupons.com and completing the Contact Us form.  The information you provide will enable the vendor to contact the retailer for more discussion on this topic.

Please rest assured that we are working hard with our vendors and the retail community to address their concerns and satisfy our mutual customers. In addition, we encourage store managers who have questions or concerns to go to
http://printcoupons.com as well.

I hope you find this helpful
Sincerely, CateC

I have also had problems at my local Walmart.  I live in Olympia, Wa and if I check out through a checker, he or she won't take the internet coupons but if I use self checkout the computer scans them easily.

Go to Walmart.com and at the bottom there is a place for their coupon policy or do a search on the internet for their coupon policy. They do accept them with the date and a picture of the product. If you have trouble get a manager involved just be sure to have a copy of the policy with you to prove your point.

I haven't had any problems with the online printing of the coupons and bringing them into our Sonora, CA Walmart. I hate shopping there however Nestle Coffee Cream normally $2.98 and just the other day I had an online coupon for $1.00 off can't beat that.

I know Winco Foods now takes coupons. I dont have a Krogar in my area, sorry for spell check on that.

Will keep you posted if somewhere does not take them,

In Vermont stores like Price Choppers and Hannafords won't take your coupons off the net is there any way to get them to mail them to us? Thank you Mrs Pamela Byrne

Hi bobotrucking:

[:(] Can't help you with getting coupons mailed. I usually find the coupons in the Sunday Paper coupons- or in the monthly Pillsbury Magazines.

I don't know if you saw my post above- but it's some helpful feedback from Consumer Service.

Re: Internet Coupon Acceptance at Your Store

I am sorry about your issue.  I have had different issues with Walmart, got so disgusted, that I now refuse to shop there.  I shop exclusively at Kroger or HEB.  Kroger will except most any coupon.  Just today, my local Kroger store, for the first time, and today only, doubled coupons up to $1.00.  I got there at 8;00 am and was still late.  Some things were already sold out.  Every one in our area was there!  Or so it seemed. My bill before coupons, $123.00, after coupons, 75.00. And I cleaned up with my Pillsbury coupons!! I am hoping Kroger will do this on a regular basis.  ldbayou
