how long will opened crescent dough last in the fridge?

I want to make Mediterranean pinwheels - an appetizer using Crescent dough mis - as one of the appetizers for a large party (350 guests).  However, all the prep work has to be done the night before the party.  Can i make up the pinwheels the night before the party, then bake them 24 hours later?  Are there any tips for success?  I'm not much of a cook, so any help would be most welcome!

I would make them two hours before the party... Please see the below.

Can I use some of the dough now and save some for later?
Opening the can of dough activates the leavening that causes the dough to rise. After the can is open, the dough can be covered with plastic wrap and refrigerated for up to two hours before baking. After two hours, the dough will begin to deteriorate.
