Lost Crescent Appetizer Recipe

Hi Everyone, I'm looking for an older appetizer recipe from this site using Crescent rolls.  You cut up a chicken breast into bite size pieces and dip them in beaten egg.  You then roll them in a mixture of crushed french-fried onion and...SOMETHING I can't remember!!  I think it's seasoned salt, but I can't remember how much.   Then you roll the chicken pieces up in the crescents slices and bake them, and serve with a sweet & sour dip.  These were so yummy, can anyone help?

Thanks!

Re: Lost Crescent Appetizer Recipe

Hi Sparkle8:

Is this one?

http://www.tablespoon.com/recipes/crescent-chick-be-quicks-recipe/1/

  • 3/4  cup crushed canned French fried onions
  • 1  tablespoon flour
  • 1/4  teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1  (8-oz.) can Pillsbury® Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Rolls
  • 1  whole chicken breast, skinned, boned, cut into 16 pieces*
  • 1  egg, beaten
  • Sesame or poppy seed
  1. Heat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease cookie sheet. In small bowl, combine French fried onions, flour and salt; blend well. Set aside. Separate dough into 8 triangles. Cut each in half diagonally to form 2 small triangles. Dip chicken pieces in egg; coat with onion mixture. Place one coated piece on wide end of each triangle; roll to opposite point. Place point side down on prepared cookie sheet. Brush tops with remaining beaten egg; sprinkle with sesame seed.
  2. Bake at 375°F. for 11 to 13 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm or cold.
