Let's just say I wasn't aware that hot olive oil in a pan, though it looks still and cool, would explode into sizzles when I plopped in my dinner! Lesson learned, backsplash ruined! [:(]

Last year for Thanksgiving, I attempted to make these cute turkey cupcakes from a cupcake book I have. I spent a lot of time on them the night before. I decorated a ginger cookie for the tail, candy corn for the beak, etc., they were too cute! I put them in tupperware overnight and on Thanksgiving when I opened the container, the moisture from the cupcakes had softened the ginger cookies! They drooped and fell off. My turkeys had no tails!!! And most of the beaks fell off too! They looked so bad! They were still perfectly good tasting cupcakes, so I served them anyways, but no one knew what they were. They made for a lot of funny comments from my family haha!
