September and October Details: Enter Your State Fair Pie Contest!

Hi Everyone: Are you getting involved with your state fair? It's easier than you think. Here are some states in Sept/Oct that will have a Pillsbury Pie Contest. 

(1) Allentown Fair

Next Steps: Contest Date: Wednesday, October 14, 2009 Exhibits Accepted: 10:00 to 10:30 am Judging Time: 10:30 am  All Special Contests are FREE to the exhibitor when submitted by 12:00 p.m. on October 5th. After the entry deadline, those interested may still enter On Site just prior to judging, during the exhibitor Check In (until 30 minutes prior to the start of contest, unless otherwise stated) at $5 per item.  On Site registration is accepted on a first come basis,  due to space limitations.  Preregistration is encouraged to ensure participation. Recipe Form is required in all food related contests.

1. To be a contestant, mail recipe to Pillsbury PET-RITZ Pie Baking Championship, N.C. 

State Fair, 1025 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh, NC 27607 or by delivering recipe to the 

fairgrounds Entry Office. 

2. Recipe must be postmarked by Saturday, October 10, 2009.
