Headlines: Aren’t Biscuits Just Grand?

While Pillsbury Grands! Biscuits are a great side to a nice home-cooked meal, they can also take on an exciting life of their own. This week, bloggers found all sorts of fun and creative ways to turn Pillsbury Biscuits into different appetizers, desserts and more! Maybe you’ll find something below that you could try over the weekend.

Holy Batman Biscuits!
While the connection between this recipe and the Caped Crusader is unclear, the name could certainly be a way to get the kids interested! Cut biscuits into 4 pieces and roll in a cinnamon and sugar mixture. Top with a bit of butter (or margarine) before baking for about 10 minutes. Your kids will enjoy rolling the dough in the cinnamon and sugar almost as much as they’ll enjoy helping you eat them.

Magleby’s Dinner Rolls
The namesake of this dish is blogger SusanHi’s favorite restaurant back where she used to live in Utah. Since she moved, she’s tried to replicate the memorable taste of their signature dinner rolls. Roll Pillsbury Grands! in a mixture of butter, basil, garlic salt, parmesan and Asiago cheese. It might sound easy, but the blogger explains that she’s been trying for years to get it just right.

Kiddle Donuts
If you’ve never tried to make your own doughnuts before, this could be your chance! Pillsbury Country Style Biscuits are the perfect base. Before baking, cut out the centers and top with cinnamon and sugar. Then, after baking, cover with a glaze of whole milk and powdered sugar. Last but not least, throw on some sprinkles and you’ve got a perfect snack.

Bacon-Tomato Cups
Another recipe from the blogger who brought you the Dinner Rolls above, this snack could be perfect for the big game next weekend! It’s pretty simple too. Just press your biscuit dough into a muffin pan and fill each up with a mixture of mayo, Swiss cheese, grape tomato eighths and bacon. In less than 15 minutes, you will make your sports fans extra happy.
