It’s that time of year again: the time when we bring out our most creative and delectable cookies and treats to celebrate the winter holidays. Since nobody says “Seasons Greetings” better than Pillsbury, here are some of the most mouthwatering and visually exquisite holiday treats to enjoy beside a roaring fire.
Better Peanut Butter Cookies
Why make your own peanut butter cookies when you can just buy Pillsbury Peanut Butter Cookie dough? Well, this blogger has found the best of both worlds. For the simplest holiday recipe of all, Lee Zalban (a.k.a. New York’s “Peanut Butter Guy”) suggests you buy Pillsbury Refrigerated Sugar Cookie Dough and mix it with your OWN peanut butter. Get the taste you want, without leaving your kitchen covered in flour and baking soda!

Snowflake Cups with Pomegranate Mousse
After you see the pictures of these cookies, you might want to make them just to look at instead of eat! Start by cutting out snowflake shapes from Pillsbury Refrigerated Pie Crusts, bake for 7-10 minutes, then cover with powdered sugar. Then, fill with your Pomegranate Mousse—a mixture of pomegranate juice, condensed milk, whipping cream, and gelatin. Top it off with some sprinkles and you’ve got an absolutely beautiful holiday treat!

Shortcut Peppermint Snowballs
To create this extra sweet and minty delight, just throw some Pillsbury Refrigerated Sugar Cookie Dough in an electric mixer, along with peppermint extract, crushed peppermint candies, and powdered sugar. Roll the dough into round balls, bake, then garnish with more powdered sugar and crushed candies. This blogger also offers a variation of the recipe that she calls “Peppermint Candy Cane Twists.”

Cranberry Pecan Brie Bites
These are somewhat similar to the Snowflake Cups, but instead of a Pomegranate Mousse, you’ll be using a mixture of pears, cranberries, and salt. Then, top it off with a chunk of brie cheese and some chopped pecans and you’re holiday tray is almost complete!

Cinnamon Marshmallow Sticky Buns
For this simple recipe, the blogger says you can use either our bread stick OR crescent roll dough. Simply take a strip of the dough and wrap it around a large marshmallow. Cover the dough ball in butter and then roll it in a cinnamon and sugar mixture. Bake for 10-12 minutes and you’re done! Has making people happy ever been easier?
