Buttermilk Doughnuts recipe

This is so quick and easy !!

2 pkgs. Pillsburry buttermilk biscuits

Vegetable oil for frying

Flour for fingertips

Open biscuit packages and take apart biscuits.

Dip fingers in flour and take each biscuit and from the center work dough into a doughnut shape and making a center hole.

Add flour to fingers as needed to prevent dough from sticking to you.

Place doughnut dough on wax paper and let sit while you heat oil in a fry pan (preferably a cast iron skillet) or a deep fryer. Heat oil to 375 degrees.

Place doughnut dough in hot oil (no more than 3 or 4 at a time) and fry till golden on each side.

Place cooked doughnuts on paper towels or rack to drain excess oil and to cool.

Eat plain or mix up a freezer bag of cinnamon and sugar and shake in bag or coat with confectioners sugar.

Your kids will love this, my grandkids do !!

HAPPY EATING !![Y][:D]

Hello HOWARAD61.  You are right.  My kids loved this as well.  I hope others have found this quick and easy idea.  Tastes great with the sugar and cinnamon.
