Perfect Portions biscuits

I loved using the Perfect Portions Biscuits to cook for 2, often pressing the dough out and making a recipe for 2 people (Italian Herb flat bread, etc.) instead of just making the biscuits as is.  I am very disappointed that Pillsbury apparently discontinued this product.   They are pushing the frozen biscuits as being good for 'meals for 2,' but you can't use that the same way as the refrigerated dough.  Sad

Re: Perfect Portions biscuits

I agree, these are the best.  It is so easy to take out just one if you need to or to fix a whole box of 8.  If you put them on the pan while the toaster oven (or oven) is heating up they really rise very nicely and come very close to what my mother made when I was growing up.  I am still able to find the "rogue" box when I'm lucky, but apparently that is about to end.  PLEASE BRING THEM BACK IN THE REFRIGERATOR SECTION.......

Perfect Portions were perfect. I just hate it when a good product such as this is discontinued without notice. The frozen biscuits are NOT the same, do not taste the same, are not as flexible. Are you listening Mr Pilsbury?

I agree with the previous sentiments. Perfect portions is a great product. Aside from it's far superior taste compared to any of the cardboard canned "Grands" products the sealed pairs allowed small (as in single) households to keep a product for a long time.

Re: Perfect Portions biscuits

Thank you everyone for taking the time post. Your comments will be shared. You are correct-this product has been discontinued and is no longer available.  While many of consumers did enjoy this product, it wasn’t as successful as Pillsbury had anticipated.
I feel bad if you were caused any inconvenience and hope you continue to enjoy the many other products Pillsbury offers.

Sincerely, CC

Re: Perfect Portions biscuits

Cynthia and I have been eating Pillsbury Perfect Portions biscuits for breakfast frequently.  Got agrivated at our local store because they no longer had them in stock.  However, couldn't find them in other, larger, stores.  So checked the website this morning.  I see that the product has been discontinued.  I am indeed sorry, as we really did like them.  Please consider reintroduceing them.

Re: Perfect Portions biscuits

I miss Perfect Portions. I have been looking all over the New Orleans area stores trying to find them for the last couple of months ...just to stumble on this site to learn they have been discontinued. I don't understand why? Is there any reason why Pillsbury would do this? It was easy for me to shower while 2 biscuits baked in my oven (17minutes ready) to perfection and be off to work. I hate the bagged biscuits I figure Pillsbury must have thought this to be the great idea, however, they stick together and you have to pry them apart...who has time for that when trying to get to work at 6AM? The best thing for Pillsbury to do is restock the stores I visit frequently Wal-Mart, Winn Dixie and Rouses in the New Orleans, Metairie, Gretna and Slidell areas of Louisiana with Pillsbury Perfect Portions Biscuits immediately.

Yours Truly,

Re: Perfect Portions biscuits

Dear Cate;

Thanks for your sympathy.  But maybe you should save it for your management.  My wife and I liked and purchased Perfect Portions for as long as they were on the market.  Your other biscuit products do not compare and certainly are not as convenient.  We tried your Grands product and it doesn't  compare.  They are hard to separate and do not keep well either baked or unbaked.

Well, I guess, our loss is your loss.  We do not plan on buying any other of your biscuit products in the future.  It easier for us to  make them from scratch.

Re: Perfect Portions biscuits

I only have one day per week to make the family a nice breakfast. When PP Biscuits came out it was perfect for my homemade sausage, egg & cheese biscuits.  Grands do not compare.  Sunday breakfast just won't be the same. I guess I'll be adjusting the menu.  Please bring PP back, my kids loved them.               Wildfire in Maryland

Re: Perfect Portions biscuits

Well CC from Pillsbury I think you people made a big mistake in discontinuing the perfect portions.  The taste was great.  Also the largest age group are baby boomers who usually have just 2 people per household which these biscuites were perfect for. Please tell your marketing people to do better research on their products. I do not like your can products or anyone elses so I guess I will live without biscuits.  I am so disappointed!!!!!!!!

Re: Perfect Portions biscuits

I am so sad that your marketing people did not do us baby boomers justice when they decided that you needed to discontinue the Perfect Portions biscuits.  My husband and I loved them and used them on a weekly basis.  The frozen biscuits are not as convienent and I have used them in the past but do not like them as well.  Shame on you for taking them off of the market
