Back-to-School!: How do you get your kids out the door in time for class?

It’s that time of year again! We are looking for your tips and tricks on getting the kids to school on time. Also, what breakfast meals (and recipes!) do they love on a school day?

If you are looking for some ideas, we have a few to share. Smile

1. 10 minutes or less: Yes, your kids can microwave your eggs.  http://www.pillsbury.com/Recipes/ShowRecipe.aspx?rid=19736 (Perfect with some Biscuits!)

2. Running late?: Try the Toaster Strudel Frozen Pastries. With just minutes to make and 9 different flavors, it's a quick breakfast treat!

User Highlight:

"Pancakes are great to freeze.  When our kids were in school we would make the rest of the left over batter up and put a piece of wax paper between each pancake and put them in a Tupperware dish or they could put them into zip bags and freeze.  All they had to do was put them in a microwave for about 30 secs or add your butter and syrup on it and zap it for 1 minute. Presto! Instant breakfast!"- Chrisam2

Older kids need more food and don't always choose to eat their fruits and veggies!  Making a quick smoothy out of bananas, milk, and peanut butter, or frozen berries and milk is a great way to give your teens some extra calcium, vitamins and calories.  These smoothies are great with the previously mentioned biscuits with eggs.  And smoothies are ready in literally 2 minutes!

Smoothy for 2: 2 bananas, broken into pieces; 1 cup cold milk; 2 tablespoons peanut butter.  Blend until smooth and serve!  Add crushed ice for a colder smoothie.

I toast 2 pillsbury frozen pancakes and microwave one frozen sausage patti with american cheese. Butter and light syrup the pancakes add the sausage between the 2 pancakes. My grand kids call it a Ju Ju griddle. That is my name Ju Ju
