Kid friendly munchies/snacks

Does anyone have a good suggestion for a savory snack that 4 year olds would like?

Hi GA_Grits!

Hmmm... Just did a serach on savory snacks and these recipes came up:

http://www.pillsbury.com/Search/SearchResults.aspx?terms=savory&tab=Recipes

http://www.bettycrocker.com/search/searchresults.aspx?terms=savory

I have a five year old cousin that loves the chex mix recipes.

Hope these help or inspire!

Sincerely, Cate

Thanks! My niece has 4 children (8 through 1 years old) and I needed some recipes that were not "sweets". Thank you so much! [Y]

As a kid, our mom used to let us help her cook. I remember anything would be good as long as we felt we had helped, and it seemed very fun. I remember my favorite was when we did tacos. They were very easy, but filling them was fun. She even had little mnemonics for us to remember ingredients, like "Mickey Cuts Oscar's Leg" for: Meat, Cilantro, Onion, and Lemon. Prob a little violent but it worked.

I am impressed with our neighbors providing healthy snacks for their children. Celery with peanut butter, raw carrots,  cut up fruit  or grapes or fresh berries ( fit in little hands )  always available in the refrig. bananas with peanut butter, whole grain crackers,  popcorn (no fat small size bags )plain juice (no sugar ) and low fat cheese sticks. We fill in as grandparents to our neighborhood children when help is needed.
