INGREDIENTS
  • 3 links hot Italian turkey sausage (from 19.5-oz package)
  • 1 can (13.8 oz) Pillsbury® artisan pizza crust with whole grain or Pillsbury® refrigerated classic pizza crust
  • 3/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup torn fresh basil leaves
  • 2 cups shredded reduced-fat mozzarella cheese (8 oz)
  • 1 large red bell pepper, thinly sliced and cut into bite-size pieces (1 cup)

How long will dough last once open?

Can I use some of the dough now and save some for later?

Opening the can of dough activates the leavening that causes the dough to rise. After the can is open, the dough can be covered with plastic wrap and refrigerated for up to two hours before baking. After two hours, the dough will begin to deteriorate.
