INGREDIENTS
Meatballs
3/4lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
3/4lb ground pork
1/3cup Progresso® plain bread crumbs
1/3cup finely chopped onion
1/3cup finely chopped red bell pepper
3/4teaspoon garlic powder
3/4teaspoon salt
1/2teaspoon ground coriander
1/4teaspoon pepper
1egg, slightly beaten
Sauce
1cup red or amber hot jalapeño jelly
2/3cup apple juice
2tablespoons cornstarch
1teaspoon salt
1/2teaspoon ground ginger
1/2teaspoon garlic powder
DIRECTIONS
1.Heat oven to 375°F. Line 15x10x1-inch pan with foil; grease foil. In large bowl, mix meatball ingredients until well blended. Shape into 36 (1 1/4-inch) meatballs. Place in pan.
2.Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until thoroughly cooked and no longer pink in center.
3.In 4-quart saucepan, mix sauce ingredients. Cook over medium heat 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until thickened.
4.Add meatballs to sauce; stir to coat. Cook over medium-low heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until hot.
