INGREDIENTS
6oz bulk pork sausage
1/3cup maple-flavored syrup
2tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
1/4teaspoon ground cinnamon
1medium apple
6Pillsbury® frozen buttermilk microwave pancakes (from 16.4-oz box)
DIRECTIONS
1.Heat closed contact grill 5 minutes. Meanwhile, shape sausage into 2 patties.
2.In 2-cup glass measuring cup, mix syrup, butter and cinnamon. Core and slice apple.
3.When grill is heated, place sausage patties on lower part of grill surface and apple slices on upper part of grill; close grill. Cook 4 to 5 minutes or until sausage is no longer pink in center.
4.Meanwhile, microwave syrup mixture on High 45 to 60 seconds or until heated; set aside. Microwave pancakes as directed on box.
5.Place sausage patties on serving plates. Stir apple slices into syrup mixture. Arrange 3 pancakes on each plate with sausage. Spoon apples with syrup over pancakes.
