How to Make Your Own Doughnut Bar

Updated July 18, 2019
Doughnut Bar
Pair DIY doughnuts with edible bling and let your guests do the dipping.

If you want to ensure RSVPs to your next get-together, include these two words on the invite: Doughnut Bar.

The Hole Scoop

For the easiest doughnut holes ever, start with Pillsbury™ Grands!™ biscuits. Cut each one into three circles with a small cookie cutter, and then cook in 350°F vegetable oil until golden brown on all sides. Cool slightly on a wire rack.

Glam Dunk

Instead of setting out toothpicks or skewers, which will easily pull out of the doughnuts, add color to the bar with jewel-toned disposable cocktail forks (available at your local party supply store or online). Check out our recipe for Doughnut Hole Pops to top ‘em off!

Dip It!

Fill bowls with toppings for dipping. Some of our faves: hot fudge, caramel sauce, melted peanut butter, chopped nuts, colored sprinkles, mini chocolate chips, flaked coconut, graham cracker crumbs. Keep hot toppings with a mini slow cooker, a slow cooker with three sections or a fondue pot.
