We call my 16-year-old son “Mr. Nacho.” He literally makes nachos all the time. They just happen to be one of those easy snacks that he can make on his own and get creative with. I got to thinking that it would be fun to make him dessert nachos.
I figured Pillsbury® pie crust and some dessert toppings are basically all I would need for this experiment.
I cut the pie crust into strips and then into triangles resembling nacho chips. I gave them a toss in some cinnamon-sugar and baked them in the oven.
The end result is crisp and slightly sweet pie crust nacho chips. Perfect for being drizzled with some chocolate, caramel or anything you like.
My nacho-eating teenager and his friends went crazy over this dessert. Since then, I have made these many times, and we have had so much fun experimenting with different toppings. Once you try these pie crust nachos, you will want to make them again and again as well!
