Molten lava cakes are always popular. After all, who doesn't love a warm chocolaty center in the middle of their dessert? So I decided to create molten lava cookies. They’re fun to make and fun to eat. It’s basically a stuffed cookie that oozes chocolate goodness. Sounds good, right? Pillsbury® refrigerated cookie dough and some chocolate chips are all you need. Then you’re on your way to happy town!

Ice cream, chocolate syrup and cherries are optional. But if you’re going to take the time to stuff your cookies, you will want to add the extras. It’s totally worth it. (Besides, ice cream on top of a warm cookie is a no-brainer!)

These molten lava cookies are great to make ahead of time, too. You can simply reheat them in the microwave for a few seconds until they warm up...the centers will ooze just like they came straight out of the oven. 

They’re especially great for birthday parties. Can you see little kids’ eyes light up when they see these coming?
