Making delicious doughnuts in minutes doesn’t seem possible, but with refrigerated biscuit dough, it is! After trying these, we were hooked and know you will be, too!

Here’s what you’re going to need: Pillsbury® Grands!® Biscuits, oil for frying, powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract and food coloring paste.

Spring Doughnuts Ingredients

Open the biscuit package. (Try not to jump. I do every time!) Separate the biscuits. Use a small cookie cutter, bottle cap or, in my case, the end of a pastry tip to cut out a hole in the middle.

Spring Doughnuts Step 1

Add the biscuits, 2 to 3 at a time, to hot oil and fry until golden brown on one side. Flip and fry until the second side is golden brown.

Place the fried doughnuts on a wire rack and let cool. While they cool, you can make the glaze. Combine powdered sugar, milk and vanilla extract.

Use food coloring paste to color the glaze to your liking. We went with light pink and yellow for spring.

Dip each cooled doughnut into the glaze. Place back onto the wire rack and top with sprinkles. Allow the glaze to set and then enjoy!

P.S. Don’t forget to fry and decorate the doughnut holes, too!

Grands!® Strawberry-Glazed Doughnuts

For another flavor option, try this version that dips the finished doughnuts in a sweet strawberry glaze.
