I'm a sucker for anything pumpkin. Are you? Well, of course you are! Because you clicked on the link that said "Pumpkin Doughnuts" and landed right here, eyeballs tearing up, lips tingling, fingers crossed for good luck. And is it ever your lucky day!
Glazed with a gorgeous pumpkin spice icing, these doughnuts are so easy and deliciously delicious. Here's how to make.
You start by preparing the glaze, chock-full of pumpkin pie spice. Once you've added all the ingredients, whisk them together. It really doesn't get any better than this.
Open up a tube of Pillsbury® Grands!® and cut a hole in the center with a small round cutter. (The top of a spice jar works, too.)
In a skillet, heat oil to medium heat, then gently place a few biscuits into the hot oil. When the doughnuts are golden brown, use a pair of tongs and gently turn them over to fry the other side.
As soon as your doughnuts are fried, remove them from the oil and place in the pumpkin glaze. Make sure you glaze both sides of your doughnut. Oh, gracious. It's all so pretty!
Transfer the doughnuts to a cooling rack. Allow them to sit for 3-5 minutes, just long enough to allow the glaze to firm up just a bit.
But don't wait too long...these doughnuts are best served hot and fresh!
