We asked Pillsbury Team Members Renee and Lilly to think outside the box with tomatoes and make a truly spectacular pizza!

  • Lilly's Tomato Pizza

    I’m always up for trying something different! For big flavor, I used sun-dried tomatoes, spicy salami and goat cheese. It’s now a winner for both my husband and me!

    1. Prepare artisan pizza crust dough as directed on packaging.
    2. Chop jarred sun-dried tomatoes packed in olive oil. Spread onto crust.
    3. Chop mixed cherry tomatoes and add to pizza.
    4. Layer with pizza-blend cheese.
    5. Top with goat cheese, spicy salami and fresh, chopped basil.
    6. Bake til crust is golden! Dig in!

  • Renee's Tomato Pizza

    I created a custom pizza at a local pizza shop in college with the wrong ingredients by mistake. It ended up being a surprisingly delightful combination of salty and sweet — easily a favorite of mine!

    1. Prepare artisan pizza crust dough as directed on packaging.
    2. While dough is pre-baking, chop up red and yellow cherry tomatoes, black olives, green apples, and rotisserie chicken.
    3. Spread red sauce over dough.
    4. Add 3/4 bag mozzerella cheese.
    5. Top pizza with remaining ingredients.
    6. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top.
    7. Bake til crust is golden. Serve and enjoy!
