I know they were supposed  to start informing finalist on or around today, anyone get a call???

I, too, entered a recipe.  I have not heard anything yet.

Just to keep everyone on the same page- we just heard from the Bake-Off Team:

“We did start notifying potential finalists recently for the Bake-Off Contest.  The 100 recipes competing for $1 million at the contest finals will be announced on or about October 21, 2009 on www.bakeoff.com."

Thanks!  Are potential finalists being notified by e-mail, phone, regular mail?  :O)

I too am waiting patiently (well trying anyway, ha!) to hear if one of my recipes have been selected. I emailed them and this is the response I received:

I'm on pins and needles here!!!! Like, if I have not heard anything by say Monday, should I assume I am not a finalist?? I would just like to know so I don't hold on to false hope for the next month if all the calls have been made. Thanks, and good luck to all of us!!!

Was does Pillsbury mean by they are notifying "potential" finalists now? Aren't we all "potential" finalists?

I'm confused.  Weren't we suppose to find out on or about sept. 1st??  How do you get notified if you are a finalist??  thanks and good luck to every one!
