Cherry Cobbler

No matter what website I visit, I can't seem to find a plain old cherry cobbler recipe.  Does anyone have one? Mamamary114

Re: Cherry Cobbler

Hi, I have an old favorite, it's a twist on Cherry Cobbler but is the first to go at family gatherings.

                     FRUIT MAGIC

1 Can ( 1lb. 5 oz. ) Cherry pie filling or your favorite fruit pie filling

1 pkg. JIFFY white cake mix

1/4 cup margarine or butter, softened

 1/2 cup chopped nuts ( optional )

Perheat oven to 350. Spread pie filling in an 8" square pan. Combine cake mix and nuts in bowl. Add margarine or butter, and mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over top of pie filling. BAKE 45-50 Minutes until golden brown. Very Yummie. I sometimes add a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Re: Cherry Cobbler

thank you so much CateC.  I'll give it a try and let you know how it is.  BTW, the recipe I found for spinach tortelini on this site is awesome.  My family loved it.

Re: Cherry Cobbler

thank you cindi8913,

I've had two responses to this quest for cherry cobbler.  I love that you can ask for something and received it from other fabulous cooks.

I love making my own things.  I take pleasure and pride in it, especially if it's the first thing to go at a gathering, lol.

Thanks again,

MamaMary
