I love to bake and serve pies year round! I wish there had been a poll choice for "always" ... :-)

My vote was for summer celebrations. There's nothing more refreshing than a cool, tart lemon pie heaped with meringue, a cream Key lime pie mounded with real whipped cream, or a frozen Mile High Strawberry Pie in a chocolate crunch crust, drizzled with hot fudge, and garnished with whipped cream! DE-LISH!

I have not made many pies to be honest. The one pie I rememeber making by myself was a Turtle pie. It was one of those Kraft food recipes,and has a silly name!  There is really not turtle in the pie at all.  I made this pie for Thanksgiving one year!  The only other time I made a blueberry pie once as a child with help from my mother in ths summer time.
