my favorite pie?? there are soo many..lol. but i would have to say that my favorite is ruhbarb custard..yum!! I love the sweet and tart taste of the ruhbarb.

fresh home made cheescakes are the best no matter what kind i make everything by scratch the way i learned grwoing up in the 50s
now my favorite pis are mulberry, elderberry .rhubarb, and fresh apple or any frsh fruit pies
My favorite pie is Blueberry Pie made with fresh Bluecrop blueberries I picked at the farm.
Since that is not one of the choices, I select Apple pie.
Egg Custard is my favorite pie , my mom used to make this and now i get it from the Picadilly cafe. My husband's favorite is the Apple Pie. I use the recipe i found on pillsbury site. He loves it.

Sooner Woman: On this list, tie Pecan and Pumpkin. My favorite is Coconut Meringue. The best ever was made by the grandmother of my sister-in-law in Henryetta, Oklahoma. The cream was a tall as the meringue and one piece of pie was @ least 6" high. No one makes it like that any more.

You have my mouth watering!! Do you happen to have the receipe for coconut meringue and are you willing to share. I was married for about 3 years before I ever tried my Okie mother-in-law's chocklate gravy and now I rreally do crave it from time to time. Alas we lost her 4 years ago but have many fond memories of her and the times we all spent at her table.
