End of School Year Celebrations!
I was just reading this page and I thought it open up to the
community for discussion.
http://www.pillsbury.com/Spring-End-of-the-School-Year?WT.ac=HP_Right_Feature_Link3. I loved these ideas!
Pre-Prom Dinner
I don’t know why I didn’t do this when
I went to prom (many… many moons ago- ha, ha). I remember prom being expensive.
From the dress, to the tickets- it all adds up. If you have done this… let us
know how it went… and your tips and tricks to feeding the group before the
dance!
High School Graduation
Dessert Buffet:
I like this
idea for three reasons:
(1) It is a
fun switch up from the classic sheet cake that everybody serves with school
colors.
(2) You can
appeal to everyone’s taste buds by giving a few options.
(3) You can
make things week ahead in advance and freeze them.
Gifts of Time:
I am pretty
sure EVERY graduate would think this was wonderful.
Great grad gift idea: Give a postcard
“coupon” for a box of home-baked cookies to be sent to the soon-to-be
collegiate at his or her new location in the fall. They can send the card to
you whenever the craving hits for a taste of home! Be sure the postcard has
space to write their new college address.
Last Day of School Parties
Best. Parties. Ever.
Hehe. When I was reading the above link- this song popped into my head…http://www.truveo.com/Schools-Out/id/396316807684976688
Does your child have an end of school year party? If so, what
are you making?
Looking forward to reading your responses! Sincerely, CC
(Side note: Now that the kids are home for the summer are you looking for ideas what to do with them this summer? See this thread here!)
