Valentines Day with my love one(s).
My extended family was over and I decided to celebrate
Valentine’s Day a little early.
I made:
Appetizer: A homemade batch of guacamole
What you need:
2-4 ripe avocados (This means when you go to the store they
should be able to squeeze a little bit. . If it’s hard it may need a few days
still… if it’s really soft it could be brown on the inside).
1-2 tablespoons of lime juice (or the fresh juice of one
medium lime)
Couple shakes of sea salt, and ground pepper.
1 diced tomato
1 tablespoon of diced garlic (or a couple shakes of garlic
powder)
1 handful of cilantro. (off the vine, washed and torn)
¼ of a cup of red onion, green onion.
Directions:
Cut the avocados in half, Scoop out with a spoon, and place
in medium bowl. With two knifes,
cut the avocados into chucks. Add lime juice, sea salt, pepper, tomato, garlic,
cilantro and onion. Continue to use the two knifes to cut and mix the
ingredients. Texture should be chucky. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips!
Main: Shrimp tacos (which I though looked classier than
beef/turkey/chicken)

I took my heart cookie cutter and put the rice
through for a fun “love shape. Put some cilantro around it.
Dessert: Heart Cup Sundaes with Crispy Hearts

I wrote my reviews and tips in the review sections.
That defiantly made leftovers (we had four people). And I
know my hubby loves leftovers… It’s like the Valentine’s gift that keeps on
giving.
I will make something later on this week for the work place
and share with you.
